Over the years, the ICTA has had a very good relationship with The Finland Checker Cab Association.  Thru this relationship,  we have been able to restore three rare Checker A2 and A4 Checker Cabs.

The last Checker Cab restored in Finland, the long term goal is to complete a second restoration.

This has been accomplished via parts sharing and sourcing as well as funding to create molds for the production of rubber windshield molding.  So far the Finland team has completed one restoration of an A2 and in the US the Fay A4 has been completed and the Fay checker A3, is about 80% complete.

Most recently, Hannu Kyttanen has been working on the restoration of another former Chicago Checker Model A2.

The work continues on this Finland Checker Cab Model A2, but at this time it has ground to a halt due to the lack of funds.   The ICTA feels that its very important to continue with the restoration of the rare historical car and has established a Go-Fund-Me on behalf of Hannu, and the Finland Checker Cab association, so they can continue the work on this rare historical Checker Cab.  The current drive will fund the restoration of key metal welding and rebuilding as well as prime and painting.
