A big shout out to Chris Monier and the Checker fans getting together this week to participate in the European Checker 100th Anniversary Show. Its great to see the Checker spirit organized overseas.
The event unofficially started today with Chris meeting up with Aldee Gallego from New York City Taxi Depot/ Aldee will be there as a special guest and will be with Chris. According to Chris “I took Aldee from Lyon Airport and drove all day 500 miles to Secline where we met with Gerben”
Its interesting to note how hard core these Checker fans are, all three were also participated at the Checker show this hear in Wisconsin, USA! Later tonight Gerben, Aldee and Chris will be meeting up with Philippe Campin from Lille, France.
Tomorrow approximately eight to ten more Checkers will be meeting up! Chris will be forward photos and commentary all weekend long so we can see the fun in Europe.
