Well, we missed this auction, very rare tnat we miss an oddball Checker for sale, but a least we can post it as an interesting item.
The auction ended last week and the car is based in Canada. The auction site has not listed the end price, we’ll continue to moniter and update accordingly.
Very little information had been presented in the actual auction. The following is what was presented.

Beyond the description, its clear that this is a modified Checker Aerobus eight door wagon. It appears that a 1978 Chevy Malibu or Caprice rear end was grafted onto the cargo bay to create a “sedan back” appearence. Additionally, the Checker appears to have some type of Continental kit added to the trunk.
