Its been about six months since forty Checkers were dumped at a Lawrence, Mass auto crusher. All in all, ten Checkers were saved and are currently under restoration. About 25 were stripped and crush. The few remaining are currently being stripped for parts.
495 Auto Salvagers is still taking orders for parts. This week, this writer was able to score some bumpers, grille, window regulators and a tailgate window crank.
