Another short blog as a follow to the factory blog we posted a couple of weeks ago.  We discussed the “assembled car” process at the Kalamazoo plant in the 1920’s.  This follow up demonstrates some of the sub assemblies sourced or produced in the old CCM plant.

The following factory photos depicted mechanical parts typically purchased outside of Checker and assemblies created on sight such as the wood framed bodies.
