******* Checker Marathon – New York Style Cab – 1982 *******
This is the famous Checker Cab which you see in movies filmed in New York, etc. The last year they were made was 1982, in the Checker plant in Kalamazoo, Michigan. It has a diesel engine which was installed by a diesel mechanics school. The car is not in a shape which you could drive, but an interested party could do more work on restoration. It could also be used for parts to be used in other Checkers. Please let me know if you are interested, and I will meet you where it is stored.
