As per Steven D. Wilson, March 2, 1995 (personal correspondence) “I’ve waded thru my records & complied these production figures for Aerobus. Quantities are higher than I realized. Sometimes various records are differ slightly and are due to different time frames; i.e. model year vs. production year.”

A128E was the sedan back Aerobus based on the A12E which made it a 14 passenger transport.
There is one piece of literature from the early 70’s that describes a Checker Convoy which was an Aerobus designed for prisoner transport. As per Steve Wilson, November 2, 1995 (personal correspondence): “I have not seen the CONVOY brochures before, but I do remember our sales to US Marshals for prisoner transport.”
As per Steve Wilson, January 25, 1995 (personal correspondence): “My records did include some 1974 data not usually seen outside the corporation. Total built 154, Front bumper guards 104, Tinted glass all around 135, Air conditioning 121, 60 amp alternator 100.”
There is an AMA Specification – Passenger Car for the 1961 Aerobus (6 door station wagon and 8 door station wagon) issued on 2/6/61 for the 1961 model year. This is consistent with the A10W build dates noted above. This first vehicle would have had the “star grille” of the A9 and A10 models.
