Owner went to factory and custom ordered the Checker. He ordered the heavy bumpers, it has 350 engine 4bbrl. Engine has been overhauled bored 10 over, four bolt main was done about 6 years ago. At that time installed new water pump, fuel pump, rebuilt carburetor, belts and hoses, radiator was recored, transmission exchanged for rebuilt 400 automatic, rebuilt alternator, rebuilt starter, new brake master cylinder, brake shoes, wheel cylinders, spring kits, repacked bearings, grease seals, rebuilt calipers and new brake pads. Battery 2 years old. Tires in new condition. Exhaust system good, shocks good. Drives smooth. Has auxiliary heater. As you can see from pictures it was painted 12 years ago and paint is beginning to peel, bondo is chipping. Surface rust only, floor pans have not rust. Interior was done at same time as paint and is fading. Weather stripping will need to be replaced. Has 123,277 miles on chassis, rebuilt motor and transmission has less than 10,000 miles. As you can see from picture has good oil pressure. Hard to come by. In current condition turn the key and drive it where ever you want to go. I’m selling it for the owner and have done all the mechanics work for the past 25 years.
