1972 Checker marathon station wagon
Selling my running project due to buying another Checker. CLEAR TITLE/NON-OP Bought this in 2019 and never got around to finishing it, we did recently get it running and pieced it back together. Work done: 1. Rebuilt Carburetor 2. New spark plug and wires 3. New rotors 4. Installed hood, grille and rear bumper. 5. Installed rear lenses (used), reflectors (new) and front lenses (reproduction). Needs (parts included): 1. I have a fuel tank that needs to be cleaned, etc. 6. I have a the correct radiator core support with a radiator core (at one point, some asshole added a bigger radiator and cut the support. 7. I have a new alternator and alternator bracket, but turns out this was a generator car (I still have the gen wiring). 8. Reproduction Ignition cylinder/switch. At one point someone installed a push button (underdash) and wired it to battery and starter, I did clean up the wiring as much as I could. 9. Rear passenger’s door trim Needs: 1. Complete restoration or to be completely gone thru to make it a driver. 2. Front bumper and brackets 3. Rear tailgate glass. 4. Pass side windshield wiper assembly 5. Tires, all 4 tires hold air but are rollers 6. Hood latch assembly 7. Body/paint (front floor boards have been replaced, rust on spare wheel hump. Rear floor boards and frames are solid. 8. Interior 9. Exhaust 10. Rear brake lines My plans were to make this a rat rod/daily driver. It has excellent patina and I would love to keep it, but I have another Checker and several other projects. Sold as-is, no warranty. Please ask questions, I have plenty of more pictures.
