This is a real one-of-a-kind head turner. Have the coolest car on your block with this massive piece of American steel.
You too can hear everyone who ever lived in New York before the 90’s tell you all about it. Take 8 of your closest friends to the bar, or the drive in.
This car runs well, was my daily driver for a year, has been in storage for the last 9 months. I do not live where it is stored, so viewings will likely need to be scheduled a little ahead of time. I drove it from Portland to Lyons to store it, but I’d probably bring a trailer if you’re going much further- it’s not fast.
It has a Chevy 327 small block, Powerglide automatic transmission, and a trunk big enough to live in. Comes with several boxes of misc. parts. Due to the rust this is probably not a candidate for a full restoration, but is a super fun drivable classic. Clean title, Oregon tags good through February but I’m planning on renewing them this week. I’ll even leave Ganesh and the mirror ornaments if you want them.
The good:
Fully rewired, new set of Autometer gauges, fuel tank cleaned, dipped, and painted, upgraded to HEI ignition, carb recently dipped and cleaned, loudest horn in town, seats 9 with the jump seats, new upholstery, all electric stuff works like it should. Fully wired stereo/speaker system, has original AM radio, floors fully repaired and sealed by previous owner, all chrome and most of the emblems included.
The bad:
small exhaust leak at donut, lots of rust (some photos included), small leak in windshield seal, has world’s cheapest stereo temporarily installed, hard to start cold due to a finicky accelerator pump (runs beautifully once it starts), original AM radio does not work, window regulators are sticky, door locks iffy at best, headliner is new but poorly installed, brakes functional but could use work, manual choke cable is sticky, two of the chrome strips are included but not attached to the car as they need trim clips, two windows scratched.

Text preferred but you can call if you want. I’m willing to listen to offers once you’ve come to see the car and are serious about buying it. Lowball offers before you’ve seen the car will be ignored.

I’m willing to make a full or partial trade for farm equipment, depending on what you have to offer- I’m particularly looking for 3 point implements such as a tiller, box blade, cultivator, or wood chipper. Also looking for a flatbed trailer or a 4×4 3/4 ton or 1 ton pickup with 8 foot bed.
